I recently spent the day with a Swiss jeweler and his family. I met the jeweler when I was buying a ring for my girlfriend (now fiance). We really became fast friends and after a couple of visits to his shop, and a few conversations about Swiss culture, he invited me to dinner at his home. His wife Heidi served a delicious meat pie I think she called it pastetli. It was just a wonderful time, and I learned to appreciate the hospitality and warmth of the Swiss people.
