After graduating High School, I was given my Swiss passport and a plane ticket to Zurich. I had been to Switzerland a few times before, visiting relatives, but I had never truly "seen" it. Those of you who made those visits to relatives know what I'm taking about, the whole trip is just about visiting this person or that and not understanding a word they are saying, forget "seeing" anything. Well, there I was, out on my own absorbing the culture and I must say there is no cooler place in the world, at least in my opinion. Then, as all fairy tale stories go, I met a man and fell in love. We got married and move to Seattle, WA, and lived there for about 6 years. After the birth of our son, it became quite clear that we did not want him growing up there. So we packed it all up and are now living in Canton Wallis. I love the fact that it's a small town that's clean and peaceful. I'm glad everyday that we were able to have the option to let our son grow up in such a beautiful place.
