It's a small world after all. So we have this HUGE bike ride in Wichita Falls, The Hotter'n Hell Hundred. Somehow my dad ran into a Swiss guy who now resides in the Dallas area. They exchanged emails and we ended up getting invited to a Dallas Swiss Club Fondu get together. It was so cool to meet other Swiss people and actually talk with them! A few guys even had alp horns and played for the group! It was fun watching all the little Swiss kids trying to play them alter on, puffed cheeks just making nose, not quite music. It was also cool to learn that one girl there that didnt speak Swiss German was instead going to a french school in that region so that at least she would have that when she went to visit her Grandmother in the future. My poor little sister lacks in the speaking department. Her comprehesion isnt the greatest either but it's not bad.The guy who invited us had also brought a special guest with, Flavia, an olympic hopeful! She's a swimmer from Ticino and she's a super awesome person. It was so cool to eat with her! Hopefully we can all cheer her on next summer while she's in Bejing!
