Hi! I am trying to locate family in Switzerland and need some help. My father changed his name sometime during WWII so I am not certain of what his true last name was. It is believed to be Bachmann. I have cousins in Basel but they are too old to really help me much. My grandfather's name might of been Karl Bachmann probably born in the late 1880's? He was german I believe but my father was born in Aarau in 1911. Finding out anything about my grandfather has been my quest. My cousins are old and once they are gone I will not have any relatives in Switzerland that I know of. If I can get information about my Grandfather...he may of gotten married, killed in the war, buried somewhere, has kids or grandkids somewhere in the country??! I have tried contacting everyone I can think of and so far no luck. If you can help me in any way please let me know! Danke!
