6/21 through 6/23
now it is time for some sight seeing!
grand cannyon, las vegas, death valley!
so many impressions!
in vegas i feed a few bucks to a slotmachine, but no jackpot... in disbelieve, since i consider myself a winner :) i decide that slot machines are not made for me.
death valley - 122 degrees, below sea level and some road runners - never saw one of these before except for the comics of course.
we spend the eve in lone pine were we mingle with the locals and i get my behind kicked at the pool table.
we check in at the motel rustic - which i am sure has seen better days and the next morning we are heading for ojai!
6/24
after breakfast in ojai we hit the farmers market to hand out some of our flyers.
then getting ready to play in front of angelics touch - a little spa that has a rain forest chocolate promotion today.
the slightly esoteric and very relaxed community of ojai enjoys our mix of originals and swiss folkmusic and even guitar hero robben ford stops his car to get an earful.
afterwards we get a tour from our hosts claudia ( andra's former school mate ) and
michael who show us orange and almond trees and michaels bees and we can try some fresh honey.
