Albert Einstein was originally born in Germany, but coming of age he renounced his German citizenship and moved to our lovely country of Switzerland.

After a few years he acquired a Swiss citizenship and his first real job was working as a clerk in the Swiss patent office. He tried to enter the Swiss Polytechnic Institute but failed every subject save Physics. Later he was allowed to enter the school.

In his last years he moved to the United States of America and was given an honorary citizenship for his great contributions to science. He was a Swiss-American! (Like many of us here!)

Think of it, the greatest scientific mind in history, was a Swiss-American. I don't know about you, but that makes me proud of our heritage.
