My great-great grandfather is a REIST who came from Ruegsau (Sumiswald / Emmental) Switzerland.
Looking down at the Aare river in Bern, from up on the Matte (the little park) and breathing in the air! It's almost the first thing I do when I arrive in Bern.
To visit the farm where my ancestors came from in Ruegsau (Wildenbach farm still exists although it is owned by another family now). I would like to place a stone marker there for Christian REIST.
