Although I come from the US and am living here again, I lived in Switzerland, and I truly believe it's the best country on Earth. I want to meet Swiss people living in the US and keep my love for Switzerland alive.
I would be in a cabane on a hiking trail in Valais.
I've lived in Lausanne, and I've visited most of the country - Geneva, Locarno, Lucerne, Zurich, St. Gossau, Bern, Basel, Fribourg, etc. and a million tiny villages in between. :)
English, French, some German, a little bit of Swiss German
Literature, writing, linguistics, music, modern art, well-made espresso, the color green, snowboarding, the outdoors, peaceful and respectful living
Radiohead, Joanna Newsom, Modest Mouse, Jenny Lewis, Sido, Klee, Mani Matter, Carla Bruni, Feist, Mates of State...most music that's underground, interesting, or foreign.
City of God, all films by Wes Anderson, Buffalo '66
Love in the Time of Cholera, The Unbearable Lightness of Being (and other works by Milan Kundera), Mrs. Dalloway, anything by Margaret Atwood, a good bit of modern poetry...this list is endless, really!
