My host family is actually my extended family. Suzy, the mother, is my fourth cousin twice removed or something like that. She is the child or grandchild of the brother of my maternal great-grandmother. Suzy and Urs, the father, kids were therefore also my cousins. Aline, then 5, and Loriz, then 1, were my charges for the summer.

They were so welcoming and helped me make friends my own age.
