Come April 24, the 2009 Ice Hockey World Championship will descend on Zurich and Bern, lasting through May 10. This marks the tenth year that Switzerland will play host to this exciting event. Over 300,000 spectators are expected to attend and another 800 million to watch on TV as last year’s Russian champs defend their title against the world's best ice hockey teams. January 6, 2009, Verizon Center, Washington D.C: Before an exciting and intense ice hockey game between the Washington Capitals and the Philadelphia Flyers, 18-year-old defenseman Luca Sbisa of the Philadelphia Flyers met with Urs Ziswiler, the Swiss Ambassador to the United States.
