Thanks to the wonderful team at the NYC consulate (thanks Lukas!), the little league team of Watertown put on the Swiss jersey and played with it to celebrate the opening game of the Euro 08. The action was fast and the team liked the jersey so much that they wore it again the next weekend. In the meantime, the parents kept asking the Swiss coach about the results of his team back home!!

 ...to watch the game in the central park was a great experience!

Was worth it, to sit in that incredible heat for 2 hours...

Ich bin eine Auslandschweizerin die in Südflorida wohnt, und die Kassenführerin eines lokalen Schweizerklubs (Swiss American Society of the Gold Coast -www.sasgoldcoast.com). Out here in LA, we are very excited about the matches!!  There are numerous venues to watch them - the Goethe Institute in Mid-Wilshire, On the Waterfront in Venice.  Go CH!!!!!
