My family immigrated to St. Louis in the late 1800's.  Their names were "Rinderer".  Cities they may have been from are St. Galen and Neuchatel.  I'm more inclined to believe they were in the German-Swiss part of the country though because my mother's first language was German.

My Mom , Rosa Kunzi was born in Adelboden, Switzerland in 1931 ,,she lived their with her family til she was 6, then her parents Giligan ans Susanna (Jungen) moved the family to Fort St John, B.C. ,Canada to avoid the air bombing that was going on at the time,,They road the big ship , the Montcalm to Canada, 3 weeks later they arrived. My Mother (Trena), Aunt (Claudia) (they are half-sisters), Uncle (Steve - Claudia's husband) and I (Brett) are off to Switzerland for our first visit to see the country and to visit relatives in the Meiringen area.  Both my maternal great grandfather and great grandmother came from this area to the United States in about 1906.  Looking forward to this visit.  We are flying in and out of Zurich, renting
